PSNC member Diana L. Coidan was accepted into the Kinston Community Council for the Arts 28th Annual National Competitive Exhibition with a pastel entitled “Ducky at Turner Creek”.

Show runs from March 12 through May 2, 2009. There will be a reception at 400 North Queen Street in Kinston, NC on March 12th from 6-8pm.

“Exploring Soft Pastels”
This 6-week Wednesday afternoon class is for the student who wants to learn more about soft pastes, sanded surfaces, the importance of value, and color harmony. We will be working on landscape from photos, and still-life from life.
April 15 – May 20, 2009 from 12-3pm

3-Day Workshops at The Florence Thomas Memorial Art School
“The Florence” is located in Glendale Springs, NC right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. To register for these workshops contact Jane Lonon, Executive Director Ashe Co. Arts Council.
