The Artist’s Magazine 27th Annual Art Competition

Win cash and see your artwork featured in the pages of The Artist’s Magazine. There’s more than $25,000 up for grabs in 5 categories. But hurry—the deadline is May 3, 2010.

  • 5 First Place Awards: $2,500 each
  • 5 Second Place Awards: 1,250 each
  • 5 Third Place Awards: $750 each
  • 15 Honorable Mentions: $100 each

Compete and win in 5 categories: Abstract/Experimental,  Animal/Wildlife,  Landscape/Interior, Portrait/Figure,  Still Life/Floral

Winners will be featured and finalists’ names will be published in the December 2010 issue of The Artist’s Magazine. Nine finalists will be featured in the “Competition Spotlight” in The Artist’s Magazine , 12 finalists will be featured as “Artist of the Month” on our website and the works of twelve finalists will be offered on our website as desktop wallpaper. All winners and finalists will receive a certificate suitable for framing.

PSNC Photo Depot

All of us have trouble finding good reference photos from time to time, so we have decided to build a repository of copyright-free images donated by our members. Anyone who wishes to participate may bring as many 5x7 or 8x10 color prints of any photo they wish to release permission to use to our monthly meetings. There will be no cost to use the photos and therefore no compensation to the photographer. By sharing in this way, we can all become better artists. We hope you'll contribute to this resource!
