Google Art Project

Check out the new art website by Google – the Google Art Project. It is much like Google Earth giving a “street view” of 15+ major museums around the world. Not only can you get the feeling that you are walking from room to room in the Museum but you can also zoom in on each individual painting close enough to see details down to the brush stroke. If that wasn’t enough you can also select your favorites and make your own private museum with up to a 1000 paintings.

PSNC Photo Depot

All of us have trouble finding good reference photos from time to time, so we have decided to build a repository of copyright-free images donated by our members. Anyone who wishes to participate may bring as many 5x7 or 8x10 color prints of any photo they wish to release permission to use to our monthly meetings. There will be no cost to use the photos and therefore no compensation to the photographer. By sharing in this way, we can all become better artists. We hope you'll contribute to this resource!
