Western Wake Artists’ Studio Tour – Call for Artists

Western Wake Artists’ Studio Tour invites new and returning artists to submit their applications. This year’s open studio tour will take place on November 12-13, 2011 and will be accompanied by “Meet the Artist” exhibitions at the Halle Cultural Arts Center in Apex and at the new Cary Community Arts Center.

Deadline to apply: May 2, 2011
Notification of jury acceptance (for new artists only): May 16, 2011
Fee: $125 for new artists / $100 for returning artists

PSNC Photo Depot

All of us have trouble finding good reference photos from time to time, so we have decided to build a repository of copyright-free images donated by our members. Anyone who wishes to participate may bring as many 5x7 or 8x10 color prints of any photo they wish to release permission to use to our monthly meetings. There will be no cost to use the photos and therefore no compensation to the photographer. By sharing in this way, we can all become better artists. We hope you'll contribute to this resource!
