Pastel Pyramid workshop with Luana Luconi Winner, June 11th & 12th

Luana Luconi Winner will be teaching a Pastel workshop called PASTEL PYRAMID at Artspace on Saturday & Sunday, June 11 & 12 from 10am – 5pm. The cost is $175 ($155 members/teachers)

Create beautiful pastel paintings by beginning with the foundation of color, studying temperature in tints and shades, and developing solid drawing skills. Step-by-step you will build from the drawing and underpainting, to the large geometric design and shapes, to the carefully edited details, to sophisticated light, to the finished painting. Organize your materials, your thoughts, your references, and your story images. Come and enjoy the versatility of pastel. Supply list will be provided upon registration. Bring a bag lunch.

PSNC Photo Depot

All of us have trouble finding good reference photos from time to time, so we have decided to build a repository of copyright-free images donated by our members. Anyone who wishes to participate may bring as many 5x7 or 8x10 color prints of any photo they wish to release permission to use to our monthly meetings. There will be no cost to use the photos and therefore no compensation to the photographer. By sharing in this way, we can all become better artists. We hope you'll contribute to this resource!
