Western Wake County Open Studio Tour – November 12-13, 2011

Artists in Western Wake County are pleased to announce their next open studio tour. For the third year, 22 artists will open their studios to the general public,for this self guided tour showcasing paintings, drawings, pottery, ceramics, felt works, and photography. The studios are located in Apex, Cary, Fuquay Varina, and Holly Springs.

The tour is free. A map and brochure can be downloaded from their website www.wwast.org

Opening reception: Oct. 28, 6 to 8 p.m.

Halle Cultural Art Center, 237 N. Salem Street, Apex, Nov. 3 to 26
Opening reception: Nov. 4, 7 to 9 p.m.

PSNC Photo Depot

All of us have trouble finding good reference photos from time to time, so we have decided to build a repository of copyright-free images donated by our members. Anyone who wishes to participate may bring as many 5x7 or 8x10 color prints of any photo they wish to release permission to use to our monthly meetings. There will be no cost to use the photos and therefore no compensation to the photographer. By sharing in this way, we can all become better artists. We hope you'll contribute to this resource!
