Reminder: Deadline for Ambleside Show coming up!

The deadline is approaching to get your artwork in for the the Pastel Society of North Carolina’s “Winter Exhibition” hosted by Ambleside Gallery (524 South Elm Street, Greensboro, NC 27406; (336) 275-9844) from February 26 – March 31, 2012.

Dates to Remember

Sunday, January 15: Deadline for submitting images, via e-mail, to Jackson@amblesidearts.com.
Wednesday, February 1 – Wednesday, February 8: Notification of accepted works sent via e-mail.
Saturday, February 18 or Tuesday, February 21: Drop-off accepted artwork at Ambleside Gallery Saturday, 11am-6pm or
Tuesday, 11am – 6pm
Sunday, February 26: Opening Reception, Sunday, 5-8 pm
Saturday, March 31: Last day of exhibition
Saturday March 31 or Tuesday, April 3: Pick-up artwork Saturday 5-6pm or Tuesday 11am-6pm

PSNC Photo Depot

All of us have trouble finding good reference photos from time to time, so we have decided to build a repository of copyright-free images donated by our members. Anyone who wishes to participate may bring as many 5x7 or 8x10 color prints of any photo they wish to release permission to use to our monthly meetings. There will be no cost to use the photos and therefore no compensation to the photographer. By sharing in this way, we can all become better artists. We hope you'll contribute to this resource!
