A professional artist since 2001, Mandy Roeing graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BFA in studio art. Mandy currently works exclusively in the medium of soft pastel, painting primarily landscapes and florals. She also paints pet portraits on commission, and has become known for her attention to detail and ability to capture the individual personality of an animal.

Mandy’s other occupation is as a floral designer, and she finds motivation to paint in the beauty that surrounds her daily. Beauty in nature is her primary inspiration, and she strives to share this with viewers through her paintings.

PSNC Photo Depot

All of us have trouble finding good reference photos from time to time, so we have decided to build a repository of copyright-free images donated by our members. Anyone who wishes to participate may bring as many 5x7 or 8x10 color prints of any photo they wish to release permission to use to our monthly meetings. There will be no cost to use the photos and therefore no compensation to the photographer. By sharing in this way, we can all become better artists. We hope you'll contribute to this resource!
