Call for entries for The Artist’s Magazine

The Artist’s Magazine has issued a “Call for Entries” for its 2008 Art Competition. The 25th annual Competition will recognize 250 finalists and award 45 major prize amounts totaling more than $25,000 in cash. The Competition is open to both amateur and professional artists. PSNC Photo Depot

All of us have trouble finding good reference photos from time to time, so we have decided to build a repository of copyright-free images donated by our members. Anyone who wishes to participate may bring as many 5x7 or 8x10 color prints of any photo they wish to release permission to use to our monthly meetings. There will be no cost to use the photos and therefore no compensation to the photographer. By sharing in this way, we can all become better artists. We hope you'll contribute to this resource!
