The exhibition dates are June 20, 2018 to July 15, 2018 at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, 307 Old Main Street in South Yarmouth, MA. The Opening Reception for the For Pastels Only Exhibition is Saturday, June 23, 2018 starting at 6:00 PM. The Juror of Selection is Karen Israel and Juror of Awards is 2018 Margaret Dyer.
Show awards total approximately $5,000 in cash and merchandise with a $1,000 Best of Show prize. This exhibition is open to all pastelists.

Laura Pollak, President of the Pastel Society of North Carolina, Signature Member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast, Merit Member of the Southeastern Pastel Society as well as Associate Member of Pastel Society of America will be holding a One Woman Show at the stunning THEATRE ART GALLERIES in High Point, NC.

Yvonne George took First Place in the 2017 Sanford Brush and Palette Show Structural Category with her pastel “Stories Untold..or Forgotten”
She also took 2 Second Place awards in the Abstract and Floral categories. Both of those were with Alcohol Ink media.

Summerville, SC has a special event on the Third Thursday of every month where the historic district and all of the shops, restaurants, art galleries, open their doors, stay open late, hold special events, music, crafts, live demos, etc., and the town turns into an open, highly attended street festival. The Century 21 building is located in the center of town in the heart of the historic district.
