Greetings fellow Pastelists!
We are often faced with overwhelming complexities when trying to compose our paintings. Alexis Lavine is an Award Winning Watercolor Artist, but first and foremost she is a COMPOSER! She composes shapes, colors, and ideas!
Please join us for the November meeting of PSNC, when Alexis shows us how to take complex subjects [mostly from photos] and creates brilliant paintings.
She will show examples of her source material and the finished painting. A meeting not to be missed. Please read her Artist Statement.
Saturday November 12, 10 AM-12PM at the North Carolina Botanical Gardens room 106 (100 Old Mason Farm Road) in Chapel Hill.
Hope to see you there!
