Entries will be managed on the ShowSubmit.com website.

Entry Fee: $40 for up to two paintings, additional $10 each for a maximum of five.

Important Dates:

Open for Entries: Monday, June 29

Final Entries: Monday, August 24

Notice of Acceptance: Monday, September 14

Exhibition Open Date: Friday, October 9

Exhibition End Date: Sunday, November 1

Reception & Awards Ceremony: Friday, October 9

Artwork Drop-Off:  Friday, Monday & Tuesday, October 2, 5—6 (to The Makery)

Shipped Artworks:  Instructions will be included with the acceptance letters.

Artwork Pick-Up: Tuesday—Friday, November 3—6

All work must be for sale and all work must remain hung for the duration of the exhibition. There will be a 30% commission on all sold works. Works must have been completed during the year 2020 or later.

This North Carolina Statewide Pastel Juried Exhibition is a collaboration of the North Carolina pastel societies—The Appalachian Pastel Society (APS), the Pastel Society of North Carolina (PSNC) and until recently, the Piedmont Pastel Society (PPS). Our mission is to inspire artists, to enhance the public's appreciation for the lasting value and beauty of the medium of soft pastels, and to establish North Carolina as an emerging cultural market.
